Hey there, friend! Pull up a chair and let me introduce myself. I'm George Silberberg, the proud owner of George's Salon. But before we get into all that, let me take you back to where it all began.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, I was always captivated by the art of transformation. The way a simple haircut could change a person's entire demeanor was nothing short of magic to me. So, in 1998, my family and I packed up our dreams and moved to the United States, where I knew my passion for hair could truly flourish.

Fast forward to 2014, I was just a 15-year-old kid with a pair of scissors and a dream. I embarked on my hair journey, and let me tell you, it was no walk in the park. But with every snip and every style, I honed my craft, learning the ins and outs of the industry. I was determined to make my mark, and after 16 years of blood, sweat, and hairspray, George's Barbershop & Salon was born in May of 2021.

Now, you might be thinking, "George, why a barbershop and salon?" Well, my friend, I believe that everyone deserves to look and feel their best, regardless of their gender. At George's, we're all about breaking down those old school barriers and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. Whether you're after a fresh fade, a stylish bob, braids, weave or just a good old trim, we've got you covered. So, in 2023 we are now George's Salon.

But George's is more than just a place to get your hair done. It's a community. It's a place where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and confidence is built. When you walk through our doors, you're not just a customer, you're family. And like any good family, we're here to support you, to uplift you, and to make sure you walk out feeling like the best version of yourself.
